Before They Make Abortion Legal
‘Medical reasons’
“...I call you to help in this time before they make abortion legal in your country (Ireland)...” Sunday 12 February 2012
These Words were recalled last week, on Tuesday 17 April 2012, when we were informed that four women were campaigning for abortion to be made legal in Ireland for ‘medical reasons.’ We prayed and sacrificed and, thank God, the case was thrown out of Irish Parliament by a majority of 111 votes to 20!!
Under pressure
We can say “phew!” and “thank God!” now but we cannot afford to drop our guard for a second. Our weapons of prayer, sacrifice and standing up for the truth - telling others that there is no reason, medical or other, to kill a child in the womb. We need to constantly use these weapons because ‘evermore hungry for money’ Ireland, who continuously loses her faith, is under pressure from the European Union and the lure of huge donations from rich American billionaires.
Another article in this Newsletter is how debates in Oxford University have taken place on killing babies who have been born is no different from abortion!! This we would agree with - both are pure evil - however these ‘experts’ believe it should be an option for a mother to kill her born baby if it has a disability which was undetected during pregnancy tests!!!
I thought partial birth abortion was shocking enough!
The other Houses
When I pray at night, asking the Angels to protect the Sacred Heart House of Prayer, the other Houses in Europe come into my head. So I ask Jesus to send His Angels to each of them to protect them, many of which, sadly, lie empty at this time. Saint Stanislaus House of Prayer in Poland is always the first one I think of.
I think of the great Plans Jesus told us of for Saint Maximillian House of Prayer in France. “...This House will be known as a House where My Love shall be found and spread to the four corners of France...” Wednesday 17 August 2005
I think of Soledad, Luisa, the friendly neighbours of Cosío and the very important Message Our Lady give in Garabandal.
I think of the future kitchen to provide a meal for the poor in Colditz at Saint Nikolaus House of Prayer, Germany. I think, too, of Slovenia and its beauty.
God Bless you all
All these Houses, except for Saint Thérèse in Belgium, lie empty - that’s heart breaking! Please pray that they will not be empty for too much longer this year. And, if you can, please consider giving two weeks or a month to man a House with a servant. God Bless you all.
We continue to ask for your prayers and assistance in helping us pay our debts. Our current outstanding bills are £16,490 for the running costs of the Sacred Heart House of Prayer.
We also need help financially to continue with the different projects in all the Houses as well as the repairs and maintenance of them. A further £35,500 is needed. God Bless.

Tuesday 20 March 2012
Come to Me, My little ones, and allow Me to give you rest. Allow Me to show you the Truth of My Ways; allow Me to take you from the toils and worries of this world and show you a new Path, the Path that will give you Peace, My Peace, the Peace that surpasses all understanding.
Come, children, follow Me, do not allow self to control you any longer but die to self and you shall find Peace. I Love you, My little ones, I Love you.
Tuesday 27 March 2012
My children, come follow Me. Open your hearts to Me and allow Me to show you My Truth. Allow Me to guide you on the Path of Love that leads to the Kingdom of Our Father. I have given you many, many Words and still you have not listened.
Remember, children, I am a God of Patience, a God of Love. I am a God of Truth. This time is no different than the times of old that you can read of within My Scriptures. I Warned the people over many centuries to turn away from their evil ways, then, I had to intervene for I cannot allow evil to counterbalance Love.
Do you not realise, children, the scales of truth are heavily laden on the side of evil, yet, I am calling you: I am still willing to give you many chances to return? Turn away from the ways of this world and come back to Me for the Sword of Justice weighs heavy and is about to strike. Do not wait for it will be too late for many; the Angels shall descend and they shall remove all that is evil upon this earth and it shall be cleansed in Truth. If you are not of Me then you, too, shall be removed.
See what I say to you, children, see the chances that I give to you. Read the signs of your times: look at this world and see how it has deserted Me. Sin runs rampant in your streets and there are so few who are willing to speak out against it; those that do are scorned upon for speaking Truth.
You are blind and foolish, children, and yes, you are children for you do not realise what you are doing; you are trying to be adults and think as adults but, you are not. The more that you believe, the more you will understand then you will be able to see and think as an adult.
Come, My beloved children, wake up and see the Truth of what I say. Time is short and so few have listened. I Love you.
I Love you, My children, and I call upon you, once again, to listen to My Words: do not just read them but begin to live them. The time is close and I need you in My Army, I need you to begin to die to self and take on what I am giving to you. I need you to be My Hands, My Feet and My Lips so that We, together, can bring Love to this world.
I Love you, My children, take on the Words that I speak. I say, again, do not just read them but live them. I, your Jesus, await your response to My calls. I Love you.
Wednesday 28 March 2012
Come now, My little ones, and see the Truth; see the Truth of My Love. This world is about to change for I bestow My Power this night and soon you shall see My witnesses and they shall walk this earth and this world shall hate them as it hated Me for they will speak Truth and only Truth. Their tongues shall be a two edged sword and it shall cut deeply into this world. I have told you of their coming and soon you shall see them; soon you shall know them for My Truth dwells within them.
This world will not be able to silence them for My Hand rests upon them. They shall show up the darkness of this world. They shall reveal what this world has tried to hide from its people. This shall be the collapse of life in this world in the way that you have known it, children. Things are about to change, My little ones, read the signs of your times and know that I am close. The Path is being prepared. I am Coming. I Love you.
Friday 30 March 2012
Prepare now, children, for My Love for, soon, you shall see it shine throughout this world. Soon now, the Battle of Love will begin and I will begin to reclaim what lucifer has taken. I shall prune the Vine and all that is dead and withered shall be cast into the fire.
I Love you, My children, prepare, prepare, the Battle of Love is about to begin. I Love you, My children, I Love you, be a part of My Army that is about to rise. Do not be left behind for many wonders are about to be seen upon this earth: My Scripture will be fulfilled and mankind will know the error of his ways. I Love you, My people, I Love you, prepare! I Love you.
Sunday 1 April 2012
Come to Me, My little ones, come to Me, your God, and allow Me to heal your wounds. I Love you, I will look after you if you are willing to accept Me. When you accept Me, I rush to your aid. I look after My own as the Shepherd looks after his flock. Do not reject Me for, when you reject Me, you put yourselves in great danger for lucifer is like an angry lion waiting to devour every soul that is unprotected. I Love you, My children, I Love you.
Saturday 14 April 2012
Take My Heart, My children, I give it to you this day.
Wednesday 18 April 2012
Come to Me, My little children, I stretch out My Hand to you in these Words for My Love for you is great.
I say: Peace be upon you, children!
I give you My Peace, I give you My Love in these Words. They are droplets of My Blood poured from My Heart to your heart.
Come, follow Me in truth and be a part of My Army for it rises, children. This day I show you My Love; this day I show you My Truth and I tell you: all is about to change for My Love shall be seen in this world. The darkness shall be defeated and this world will know Peace for I am a God of Truth, I am a God of Love and you have been sifted and found wanting but, still, I stretch out My Hand for you are My children.
Turn away from the darkness, turn away from sin and come, follow Me, for I am your Saviour, I am the Lord of Hosts and I call to you this day to come follow Me in truth. I Love you.
Friday 20 April 2012
Look for Love, children. Do not be afraid to come follow Me for Love is what you shall find. My Heart is like a well filled with the unfathomable Love for all mankind. Come seek Me and let Me show you the Truth, let Me guide you upon the Path of Love that leads to the Kingdom of Our Father. Come now, My beloved children, do not wait for there is so little time left to you and still you have not listened, still you have not prepared. Come, My beloved children, I, your Jesus, await your response to My calls. I Love you.
Tuesday 24 April 2012
Come, My little children, listen to My calls.
I am like a beggar, begging for alms.
I beg for your love.
I am on bended Knee before you, pleading with you.
Come, listen to My calls for you have so little time left to you before I must Come in Justice. The blood of the innocent calls out to Me; their calls become louder as every minute of every day passes. More and more innocent suffer at the hands of evil. Soon now, I will Come and I shall cleanse this earth of all that is evil and My own shall know Peace. This is why I ask you to prepare, children, I ask you to listen and be ready for My Justice is holy and it shall cleanse this earth but, first, I need your hands, your feet and your lips in order that I can bring many to My Side. There are so few who are willing to work in My Vineyard. I am asking you, children, to become a worker of Love. I lay My Hand upon you this day if you are willing to accept Me and I mark you with a seal of My Love. You are Mine and I call you into My Army.
Come, My beloved child, and listen to these Words for soon you shall be needed and you must be ready. I Love you.
Friday 27 April 2012
My children, I call upon you to look at your lives. See how I am not present within all parts, see how you hold many things back from Me. I wish to be a part of your everyday life; I wish for you to call upon Me to help you in everything that you do. Trust in Me, My children, trust in My Love for you. When you call upon Me, I am with you, believe this. I Love you, My little children, I Love you.

I watched a little bit of Channel Four’s TV show the ‘Undateables’ last week where individuals were trying to go on a first date.
The undateables are:
Sam from Kent, a twenty seven year old actor and media student with Down’s Syndrome.
Hadyn, a twenty four year old skateboarder and Chelsea supporter with Crouzon Syndrome. His facial disfigurement has caused his lack of confidence to meet a girl.
Sociable and chatty Kali, a twenty year old singer from south London, has William’s Syndrome - a rare genetic disorder that can lead to problems with development.
Luke, a stand-up comedian with Tourettes.
Trainee teacher, Penny, twenty three years old, who has a genetic disorder that means her bones are extremely brittle.
Justin, who has tumours on his body and face and has never been out with a girl before.
Richard, an amateur radio enthusiast, who has Asperger’s.
Shaine is from Bournemouth. The thirty one year old is a prolific amateur poet with a learning disability.
Carolyne is a striking, bubbly twenty nine year old from Greater Manchester. She went to sleep one night five years ago and woke up the following morning paralysed from the chest down after a weak blood vessel burst in her spinal cord.
Someone for everyone
I was really taken by these beautiful people and their stories. I watched how Sam - with Down Syndrome - met a girl who had a learning disability through the help of a dating agency. As first dates go, it was a huge success and it left me thinking “there’s someone for everyone out there.”
Targets for abortion
The way the world thinks at the minute, Down’s Syndrome people are one of the biggest targets for abortion.
It is a common assumption to think that if a baby in the womb is found to be at risk of having a genetic disorder, an abnormality or deformity, that it is better to have an abortion because the baby may not live, or may have a bad quality of life or the parents wouldn’t be able to cope if the baby did live…etc
A chance to live
However it is these assumptions that need to be killed rather than the babies!! Look and see the numerous cases where babies have been wrongly diagnosed, or have survived to live beyond birth – contrary to what the doctors have said, or have a disability yet do - of course - want to be given a chance to live their life too and make their own choices, just like the rest of us.
They advised her to have an abortion
Leeann Phelan was told her unborn baby had an incurable brain abnormality, Dandy-Walker Syndrome. Doctors said he would be stillborn or severely disabled, have no quality of life and would be strapped to a chair! They advised her to have an abortion. Leeann and her partner Stephen Crane firmly refused and carried on with the pregnancy.
The Daily Mail published Leanne’s story on 25 March 2008.
To read it, please go to:
Leeann said to the Daily Mail: “‘It is my baby, I don’t care what’s wrong with him, he will be treated the same as my daughter.’ They said I could always have more kids but I said ‘So what if I can have more, I’m not going to get rid of this one. Now he looks like a normal baby.’
Strong, alert and enjoys playing
…Miss Phelan…had to be induced three weeks later, on December 27 last year, due to pregnancy complications. At 2lbs 7oz, Jayden was just six inches long and needed specialist hospital treatment for three months. Mr Crane, thirty two, said: ‘We were told to expect him to be stillborn. It was like being on a time bomb. When he came out fighting there was so much relief but we were trying to keep our emotions together. I have never cried so much in my life... Not being able to hold him was the hardest part. There were wires everywhere. It is hard to see your baby all wired up, and with tubes everywhere.’
Now Jayden is eating well, and his parents describe him as strong, alert and enjoys playing with his sixteen month old sister Skye…”
Eliot Mooney
I recently came across the incredible story of Eliot Mooney.
You can watch a short film about the ninety nine days of life which his proud parents, Matt and Ginny Mooney, treasured with him at:
Eliot was diagnosed with the genetic disorder, Trisomy 18, before he was born which affected his development and heart in life-threatening ways.
His parents, Matt and Ginny, prayed for his healing once he was prenatally diagnosed and prepared for their son’s birth and heart-breaking early death. Only ten percent of children born with Trisomy 18 see their first birthdays. Many infants are lost in late pregnancy and are stillborn to devastated parents.
Matt and Ginny cherished every moment of Eliot’s short life, each day was precious, a celebration. The doctors had told them their baby may not be born alive but, instead of aborting him, they prayed and are a great example to us all of Christian Love.
A stark contrast
Matt and Ginny’s story is a stark contrast to what we have recently experienced in Ireland when the four women who aborted their babies with similar genetic disorders to Eliot complained to Irish parliament of the inconvenience of taking their baby’s life in England rather than in Ireland.
The following extracts are from an article printed in The Irish Times on Tuesday 17 April 2012:
‘I believe in a loving God and that I won’t be damned for what I did’ KATHY SHERIDAN
Incompatible with life
...These four women are clear that their cases are not representative of the abortion debate as a whole. Their babies were planned and much wanted; two were already mothers, excitedly anticipating another baby; two were expecting a greatly desired first baby.
“These were terminations of babies that were incompatible with life,” Ruth Bowie stresses. As a healthcare professional, she is particularly well-informed.
Although it was her first pregnancy, it was her own instinct to leave the public-health system and seek a private scan earlier than usual. She needed no one to explain the diagnosis of anencephaly, a neural tube defect which meant the baby could not survive outside the womb.
The second great shock was the choice on offer from the consultant: continue with the pregnancy and the baby would die as soon as she was born or shortly after; or accept a referral to the Irish Family Planning Association to help with arrangements for a termination in the UK.
“Very strong faith”
Bowie, a gentle, sincere woman of “very strong faith,” remembers breaking the news to her mother, also a devout Christian. “She was so shocked – not by our awful news but by the fact that we had to travel to the UK for a termination ... Even our own [healthcare] colleagues don’t realise that in our situation, we have to travel ... I’ve worked in healthcare for long enough to realise that bad things happen to people everyday and that the world is simply an unfair place – but to have to travel like this? That’s cruel.
I won’t be damned
“Having to walk around Birmingham for five hours when you’ve just ended your baby’s life, you’ve had an anaesthetic and are bleeding and cramping ... I believe in a loving, caring, understanding God and that I won’t be damned for what I did ... I want to say to people who would judge us – Where is your compassion? Where is love in all this?,” she says, her voice cracking.
Among the other women sitting around the table and nodding sympathetically are: Arlette Lyons, who had a termination six weeks ago, after her baby was diagnosed with Patau syndrome and a cystic hygroma; Jenny McDonald (twenty nine), whose termination was on January 16th at twenty five weeks, after a diagnosis of triploidy, where the baby had been diagnosed with sixty nine chromosomes (as against forty six), had no fluid around her to protect her and no indication of kidneys; and Amanda Mellet, who was twenty one weeks pregnant when her baby was diagnosed with Edwards syndrome (an abnormality caused by the presence of three, as opposed to two, copies of chromosome eighteen) with congenital heart defects, and a prognosis of death shortly after birth if not in the womb...
Genetic disorders
Anencephaly, cystic hygroma, Patau syndrome (trisomy 13), Edwards syndrome (trisomy 18) and triploidy are all genetic disorders which may be detected during pregnancy at a baby’s scan, as with Eliot Mooney. The likelihood of the baby making birth is low; life expectancy of each baby with one of these disorders is very low, they are highly likely to die within minutes, or hours, or days of birth. Ruth Bowie said, “These were terminations of babies that were incompatible with life.” But, with Eliot, who was allowed to be born, every single one of those minutes, hours and days of his life was precious to his parents. God was allowed to teach Matt and Ginny how to love and be loved in this little vulnerable helpless child, He was allowed to be God in their situation because Matt and Ginny respected Him and did not take on His Job!
That’s cruel
I really can’t get over Ruth’s words, the so called “gentle, sincere woman of ‘very strong faith’ … a devout Christian.” Both her and her ‘Christian’ mother thought it was so ‘cruel’ – not by the awful news the baby had anencephaly but that she had to travel to England to kill the baby rather than have it killed in Ireland!!
““…I’ve worked in healthcare for long enough to realise that bad things happen to people everyday and that the world is simply an unfair place – but to have to travel like this? That’s cruel.”
“Having to walk around Birmingham for five hours when you’ve just ended your baby’s life, you’ve had an anaesthetic and are bleeding and cramping … I believe in a loving, caring, understanding God and that I won’t be damned for what I did … I want to say to people who would judge us – Where is your compassion? Where is love in all this?” she says, her voice cracking.”
Her voice can crackle away, I do not have any sympathy for her. She ‘choose’ to kill her baby and walk around Birmingham for five hours bleeding and cramping!
‘Poor me’
I also watched a few minutes of RTE’s ‘The Late Late Show’ where one of these four women explained how awful it was to be told of the baby’s genetic disorder, have everyone see you grow pregnant and ask you about it, then have to go to England for the abortion and walk around Birmingham with cramps for five hours.
She just exuded ‘poor me’ but I just felt ‘poor baby!’ She was able to live and make choices. That baby wasn’t!
Cries out to Heaven for vengeance
As regards to the ‘loving caring, understanding God’ that she believes in, she is in for a shock when she stands before the God who has said “thou shalt not kill.” I wonder will her baby stand there too, by His Side, seeking vengeance.
(This is a quote from the Catholic Catechism:)
2268 The fifth commandment forbids direct and intentional killing as gravely sinful. The murderer and those who cooperate voluntarily in murder commit a sin that cries out to Heaven for vengeance.
(This is based on what God the Father said in Genesis 4:10: The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.)
Survived abortion
There are so many cases of people who survived abortion and are so happy to be alive, like Gianna Jessen, Baby Grace, Ana Rosa Rodriguez, Heidi Huffman, Sarah Smith, Ximena Renaerts.
Even Richard Rudd, left paralysed following a traffic accident, blinked three times to tell doctors he did not want to die.
From my own experience, the closer I came to God, the more love I felt and sometimes I felt that love in me burst like I couldn’t contain it and I decided to ditch my job as receptionist and become a care assistant in a nursing home to enable me to give this love to others. When I got to the home to care for the elderly, I was scared and shy, I hadn’t a clue. I remember seeing an elderly deformed woman - Chloe, about sixty years old - and her mother - Margaret, about eighty five – both residents there in the care home. Coming up to the end of the day shift we had some time to relax and chat to the residents and maybe because Chloe and Margaret’s room was closest to the staff room, everyone seemed to congregate around them. Chloe was the size and weight of a twelve year old and had a childlike laugh which was easily triggered and contagious. Me - and all my love - was afraid to go too close or stare or handle her but the other staff interacted with her so easily and really loved her and of course her mother was as pleased as punch. Intrigued and not wanting to miss out on all the fun, I gradually got closer. The closer I got to this little Chloe I felt the warmest feeling of love exude from her, she was love and I couldn’t help but be drawn towards her all the more. I suddenly knew what people meant when they called disabled people ‘special.’ I was never afraid to love others with a deformity or disability from then on. Thank God!
A privilege
I hope, if I am ever blessed with children and told that my preborn baby has a genetic disorder, Down’s Syndrome or similar, that I will love that child and value every second of its life, inside and outside the womb.
It would be a privilege to be entrusted with such a Gift from God.
I pray that Matt and Ginny’s example of love and appreciation for Eliot will reach across this blind, ungodly Irish Isle and undo the way Ireland now sympathises with those who murder their children!

Total Amelia syndrome
A teenager from Ireland is one of several people with the rare medical condition known as Total Amelia syndrome, which caused her to be born without arms and legs. That hasn’t stopped sixteen year old Joanne O’Riordan from making the most out of life.
Bright and positive outlook
The teenager, with a bright and positive outlook on life, addressed the United Nations — delivering the keynote speech to the UN’s International Telecommunication Union in New York.
Victims of abortion
At the conference, she urged delegates to the UN to use technology to help disabled people like her — who are frequently victims of abortion or encouraged later in life to take their lives using euthanasia or assisted suicide — to make the most out of life.
Live an independent life
“I’m asking the women here, who are the leading women in their fields, to start doing what I do every day – think outside the box. To think of ways and means to make technology more accessible to the people who really need it,” she said.
“The main thing the robot would be doing is picking up the objects I drop such as a pen, knife, fork and, or, my phone” she said.
“I want to live an independent life just like you,” she added.
She told delegates how she had used technology to change her life “dramatically.”
She could with technology “do all the things my other friends were doing with their fingers. I was able to be as good as them if not better.”
I have excelled
Although some people might say O’Riordan has a very low quality of life and might be more interested in ending her life rather than tackling the challenge her disability presents, the Irish teen uses her upper and bottom lip, chin, nose and hand to work the latest technological devices — to the point that she says her skill is quite good.
“Technology has opened up a world of possibilities, through which I have excelled in both my education and social environment around me.
An inspiration for millions
Ms O’Riordan told delegates that her motto in life was “no limbs, no limits.”
As someone who can type thirty six words a minute and who appears to enjoy interacting with her friends and family, O’Riordan truly does have an unlimited life ahead of her and her positive, upbeat demeanor is an inspiration for millions. Who says people with even some of the most challenging physical conditions can’t take life head-on?

Abortion free
Ireland is under increasing pressure from the European Union and pro-choice activists to legalise abortion. This battle has been going on for years but so far Ireland has remained abortion free.
It is one of the safest countries in the world for a baby to be born and yet there are those who believe that the right to life does not pertain to the unborn and are constantly pushing for changes. Pro-choice organisations have brought their case to Irish Parliament stating that women should not have to go abroad to have an abortion.
Abortion on demand
The following is taken from the internet:
A Bill coming before Dáil Éireann (Irish Parliament) on Thursday 19 April will effectively legalise abortion-on-demand in Ireland.
This Bill is called a “Medical Treatment Bill” and will
- allow abortion right up to birth
– allow abortion in cases where a woman claims she is suicidal, even without any diagnosis from a psychiatrist or psychologist
– denies ‘conscientious objection’ to abortion for pro-life health professionals
– create a ‘witch-hunt’ against Pro-Life doctors, who will be forced to refer women seeking abortion to a pro-abortion doctor
– allows doctors to perform an abortion even without the woman’s consent
– allows abortions on underage girls without their parent’s or guardian’s consent
– target Pro-Life groups or individuals by making it an offence to talk to women or give them information; or hold prayer vigils or demonstrations outside abortion centres. Any Pro-Lifer convicted will be imprisoned for up to a year and fined up to £2000
What used to be a crime in this country (murder) will now be seen as a lifegiving treatment (kill the baby, save the mother).
Remember the fifth Commandant: Thou shall not kill. Only God has the right to take life.
We had been praying for a ‘No Vote’ and praise God it was decided against by the majority of leaders.
Update on outcome of Bill
The following atricle has been taken from
The Government has defeated a Dáil Private Members’ Bill implementing the X case ruling to provide limited access to abortion by 111 votes to 20.
The Private Members’ Bill, put forward by Socialist Party TD Clare Daly, along with People Before Profit TD Joan Collins and Independent TD Mick Wallace, seeks to create a legal framework for abortion in Ireland where a woman’s life is at risk.
The vote was opposed by Fine Gael, Labour and Fianna Fail. It was backed by Sinn Fein and number of independents.
Minister for Health Dr James Reilly rejected the Bill on the grounds that the House should await the report of an expert group on the matter.
Speaking before the vote, Ms Daly said she respected other people’s opinions but there (were) some inaccuracies in the debate. The Bill, she said, did not seek abortion on demand. She said it was incredibly limited and solely provided for the situation whereby an abortion would be permissible in Ireland where the life of the woman was at risk, including from suicide. Following a 1992 Supreme Court ruling – known as the X-case – abortion has been legal in circumstances where there is a substantial risk to the life of the mother. However, successive governments have not enacted legislation to give full effect to the ruling.
Minister of State for Health Roisín Shortall thanked Ms Daly and her colleagues for moving the Bill. She reiterated the Government’s commitment to the “expeditious implementation’’ of the European Court of Human Rights judgement. This found the State had violated the rights of a woman who had cancer and who was forced to travel abroad to get an abortion. Ms Shortall said she agreed with people who were critical of the fact that the issue had not been addressed. “Many years have been lost in respect of the commitment to legislate for the X case,” she added.
She said it was unfair to criticise the current Government, given that an expert group had been set up and legislation would be introduced in accordance with its recommendations.
“As soon as the expert group reports at the end of June, the Government is absolutely committed to taking action in this area,” Ms Shortall added.
During the debate, Fine Gael TD for Mayo Michelle Mulherin said “fornication” was the single greatest cause of unwanted pregnancies in Ireland.
“In an ideal world there would be no unwanted pregnancies and no unwanted babies. But we are far from living in an ideal world,” she said. “Abortion as murder, therefore sin, which is the religious argument, is no more sinful, from a scriptural point of view, than all other sins we don’t legislate against, like greed, hate and fornication. The latter, being fornication, I would say, is probably the single most likely cause of unwanted pregnancies in this country.”
Labour Party deputies voted against the Bill despite expressing support for such a move at last week’s party conference. A spokeswoman said last night the issue of abortion was a sensitive one and should not be dealt with through a Private Members’ Bill.
At the party’s annual conference last weekend, Labour members supported a motion in favour of legislating to give effect to the X-case ruling. Labour has consistently called for such a move since the 1992 ruling.
“In the meantime women who need life-saving abortions, and their doctors, are in the same invidious legal position as they were twenty years ago,” he said. “Nor will the European Court of Human Rights be content to see Ireland’s legislators continue to drag their heels. Action is long overdue – and this Bill is a minimum first step.”
Pray for our country
This is by no means the end of this battle. As you can read from Minister for Health Dr James Reilly’s statement that they are awaiting the reports of an expert group.
In a Message given on Sunday 12 February 2012 Jesus said “...I call you to help in this time before they make abortion legal in your country (Ireland)...”
The evil one will stop at nothing to destroy all life that God has created.
It has also come to our attention that wealthy Americans are helping to fund the organisations that are pushing for abortion here in Ireland. To read more on this, please see our article entitled “The U.S. Billionaires Funding the Push for Abortion in Ireland.”
Please pray for our country that we may continue to be abortion free.
Fight for life Message from Jesus
My children, I come to tell you that when you fight for life you fight for Me. What you do to the least of these My brothers then you do it to Me. Why then do so many of you sit back and allow these murders to take place? Why do you not fulfil My Words in Scripture?
Children, one day you must face Me. One day I will ask of you what you have done with your life upon this earth. What will you answer Me? Will you lie to Me - the Truth - that you did not have the time?
The evil one has made sure that the senseless murder of innocence is done in a legal manner. He has made sure of the sacrifice - a blood sacrifice - of the children of the earth to keep him alive and I tell you and I declare it to the world this day that; if you do not fight against it then you are just as guilty as those who do it. The evil one has numbed the senses of mankind and lulled them into a lethargy that keeps him hypnotized and blind.

Wake up, My children, and fight against this abomination for if you do not then it is you also who have their blood on your hands. I, your God, call you to fight against this sin with all of your heart.
Why are you afraid of being persecuted, tortured, thrown into prison or even dying for this cause? Have I not said in Scripture that you would be following Me when these things happened to you?
Move now, My children, give up your selfish ways and you will find the time to do these things and I will give My Graces to you to help you for I will not leave you orphans as many of you have left these innocents to die by not helping them. Let these Words penetrate you as never before for when many begin to fight then you will see a decrease of evil in this world. I Love you all. Do as I ask. Wednesday 22 October 1997, Oranmore, Co. Being recently aware of the likes of Chuck Feeny, an American billionaire, giving huge donations to the Irish Family Planning Association to push for abortion to be made legal in Ireland, you may find the following article interesting published on 13 March 2012 from (
Abortion is not needed
Ireland’s experience in banning abortion is hugely important for the global Pro-Life community. That’s because our record proves that we best serve mothers and babies when our laws protect unborn human life. Ireland is the example Pro-Life activists the world over can point to, because the Irish experience shows that abortion is never necessary.
The abortion industry is, of course, particularly discomfited by the fact that, according to the United Nations, Ireland, without recourse to abortion, is the safest place in the world for a mother to have a baby. And Irish medical experts have testified that their experience shows abortion is not needed to preserve the lives of mothers - whatever conditions arise during pregnancy.
Little wonder, then, that enormous global pressure is being brought to bear on Ireland right now. However, most people would be surprised to hear that the push to legalise abortion in Ireland is being funded by wealthy Americans: with funding coming from billionaires George Soros and Chuck Feeney and from multinationals like Microsoft and Goldman Sachs through donations to legal centres supporting Planned Parenthood.
The ABC case
The most recent legal attack on Ireland’s Pro-Life laws was a court case - the ABC case - taken to the European Court of Human Rights. The court case was sponsored by the Irish Family Planning Association, the Irish affiliate to International Planned Parenthood. The lead attorney in the case, Julie Kay, has worked for both Planned Parenthood and the Legal Momentum Fund - which works to make abortion legal.
The US based Legal Momentum Fund enjoys massive funding, with multinationals like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Pfizer and others helping them to raise almost eight million euros in 2008 alone. Their Annual Report for that year describes Kay as a Senior Staff Attorney and reveals its involvement in planning the ABC case. Also supporting Kay with the ABC case was the US Centre for Reproductive Rights - a legal centre headquartered on Wall Street. Their 2010 Annual Report shows income for that year at eighteen million dollars with donations from the Ford Foundation, Google, Microsoft and others. The Centre boasts in the same report of their involvement in ‘fighting’ Ireland’s Pro-Life laws.
The American billionaire
It is difficult for local Pro-Life advocates to match such lavish funding, especially when additional resources for abortion campaigns also comes from wealthy individuals, such as Chuck Feeney, the American billionaire. Feeney made the headlines in Ireland recently when it was announced that he had given €1,500,000 to ensure a ‘Yes’ vote to a forthcoming referendum on children’s rights. But the billionaire has given millions to organisations pushing for social change in Ireland for a decade or more. For example, according to the website of his foundation Atlantic Philantrophies, he has funded the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) to the tune of some $7.7 million.
The United Nations
The ICCL has long been an advocate of legalising abortion in Ireland but recently it caused major controversy when it claimed it had the support of major Catholic charities for a report it put together to submit to the United Nations which contained a strong call for abortion legislation.
Catholic organisations
The report, entitled ‘Rights Now,’ cost a whopping $190,000 to produce and was funded entirely by Feeney’s foundation. It said that “By restricting abortion, the [Irish] State disproportionately interferes with women’s rights to health, privacy, life, freedom from inhuman or degrading treatment and non-discrimination.” The ICCL claimed that major Catholic organisations such as the development aid charity Trócaire supported the contentious report but in a major embarrassment for the Feeney-sponsored lobbyists, Trócaire and other charities withdrew support when the Life Institute raised a controversy regarding the call for abortion.
However, the ICCL report encouraged other countries to attack Ireland’s ban on abortion at the subsequent UN hearing in Geneva. What’s also interesting is that, without Feeney’s support, the ICCL would hardly exist since it receives almost no support from the members of the public. For example, in 2009 the organisation only managed to raise €8,822 in donations from the Irish people, but received more than €2 million from Feeney’s foundation the following year.
George Soros
Feeney has also given more than $1,000,000 to the National Women’s Council of Ireland, who last month launched a drive to lobby politicians in support of abortion legislation.
As if that wasn’t enough, there are also other massively wealthy figures funding the push for abortion in Ireland. George Soros, the New York based investor billionaire, gave €100 million to the self-styled rights organisation, Human Rights Watch (HRW), in 2010 - the same year that the outfit visited Ireland to attack that country’s ban on abortion. HRW slammed the Irish government in a document provocatively titled “A State of Isolation: Access to Abortion for Women in Ireland,” and demanded that “immediate steps” be taken “toward decriminalizing all abortion for women living in Ireland.” The document even suggested that the authorities do more to shift public opinion towards abortion.
The funding being lavished on abortion campaigners amounts to unwarranted and unwanted interference in Ireland’s affairs in a bid to smash the Pro-Life ethos that protects both mothers and babies. Two decades of persistent public engagement and education has maintained Ireland’s Pro-Life majority, and, in that time, abortion campaigners have failed to win the necessary public support to build momentum for abortion legislation. But they are now openly availing of the massive global funding being made available to efforts to overturn Ireland’s Pro-Life laws. As in many other jurisdictions, since they cannot get the people to agree with abortion, they want to use the courts and the massive wealth and power of a tiny elite minority to foist abortion on the nation.

I came across this article on the internet while I was researching another article. I was so horrified by what I read that I wanted to reprint it here to show the world the train of thought that is going on out there. Reading this article made my blood run cold.
The Daily Telegraph, Wednesday 18 April 2012
Killing babies no different from abortion, experts say
Parents should be allowed to have their newborn babies killed because they are “morally irrelevant” and ending their lives is no different to abortion, a group of medical ethicists linked to Oxford University has argued.
The article, published in the Journal of Medical Ethics, says newborn babies are not “actual persons” and do not have a “moral right to life.” The academics also argue that parents should be able to have their baby killed if it turns out to be disabled when it is born.
A liberal society
The journal’s editor, Professor Julian Savulescu, director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, said the article’s authors had received death threats since publishing the article. He said those who made abusive and threatening posts about the study were “fanatics opposed to the very values of a liberal society.”
After-birth abortion
The article, entitled “After-birth abortion: Why should the baby live?”, was written by two of Professor Savulescu’s former associates, Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva.
They argued: “The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a foetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.”
Rather than being “actual persons,” newborns were “potential persons.” They explained: “Both a foetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life.’
Damage a newborn
“We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her.”
As such they argued it was “not possible to damage a newborn by preventing her from developing the potentiality to become a person in the morally relevant sense.”
Have the baby killed
The authors therefore concluded that “what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.”
They also argued that parents should be able to have the baby killed if it turned out to be disabled without their knowing before birth, for example citing that “only the sixty four percent of Down’s syndrome cases” in Europe are diagnosed by prenatal testing.
No choice
Once such children were born there was “no choice for the parents but to keep the child,” they wrote.
“To bring up such children might be an unbearable burden on the family and on society as a whole, when the state economically provides for their care.”
However, they did not argue that some baby killings were more justifiable than others – their fundamental point was that, morally, there was no difference to abortion as already practised.
They preferred to use the phrase “after-birth abortion” rather than “infanticide” to “emphasise that the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of a foetus.” In other words, it makes them look better!
Both Minerva and Giubilini know Professor Savulescu through Oxford. Minerva was a research associate at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics until last June, when she moved to the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at Melbourne University.
Giubilini, a former visiting student at Cambridge University, gave a talk in January at the Oxford Martin School – where Professor Savulescu is also a director – titled ‘What is the problem with euthanasia?’
He too has gone on to Melbourne, although to the city’s Monash University. Professor Savulescu worked at both universities before moving to Oxford in 2002.
Arguments in favour
Defending the decision to publish in a British Medical Journal blog, Professor Savulescu, said that arguments in favour of killing newborns were “largely not new.”
What Minerva and Giubilini did was apply these arguments “in consideration of maternal and family interests.”
Well reasoned argument
While accepting that many people would disagree with their arguments, he wrote: “The goal of the Journal of Medical Ethics is not to present the truth or promote some one moral view. It is to present well reasoned argument based on widely accepted premises.”
Witch ethics
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, he added: “This “debate” has been an example of “witch ethics” - a group of people know who the witch is and seek to burn her. It is one of the most dangerous human tendencies we have. It leads to lynching and genocide. Rather than argue and engage, there is a drive is to silence and, in the extreme, kill, based on their own moral certainty. That is not the sort of society we should live in.”
He said the journal would consider publishing an article positing that, if there was no moral difference between abortion and killing newborns, then abortion too should be illegal.
Antenatal infanticide
Dr Trevor Stammers, director of medical ethics at Saint Mary’s University College, said: “If a mother does smother her child with a blanket, we say ‘it doesn’t matter, she can get another one,’ is that what we want to happen?
“What these young colleagues are spelling out is what we would be the inevitable end point of a road that ethical philosophers in the States and Australia have all been treading for a long time and there is certainly nothing new.”
Referring to the term “after-birth abortion,” Dr Stammers added: “This is just verbal manipulation that is not philosophy. I might refer to abortion henceforth as antenatal infanticide.”
ArielMalek 03/28/2012 07:24 AM
“Shortly after abortion was legalized in the USA, Christian philosopher and theologian Dr Francis Schaeffer predicted that abortion would lead to acceptance of infanticide and euthanasia. That once man decides it is his perogative to play God, basically no life would be safe. That eventually and increasingly what was unthinkable in one generation would be acceptable in the next. They didn’t think such things as the Holocaust would happen in civilized Germany. But as Schaeffer noted, it was the medical and legal professions that paved the way and enabled Hitler to not only exterminate millions of Jews but Poles, Christians, the handicapped and anyone he deemed not a good German. I am glad the vast majority of commentators recognize the madness and evil proposed in the name of science. And as one person noted, this is the fruit of ethical relativism, and the rejection of Gods moral absolutes like the sanctity of all life which is non-negotiable. But if a spiritual revival and renewal does not come to the West and Europe and America, such evil and madness as is proposed in the name of “scientific progress” then what is coming in a number of years will make Adolf Hitler seem like a choir boy. Yet as a believer in the sanctity of all life, I do not condone the death threats to these researchers, it truly is hypocritical for them to complain, about threats to their life by someone that, like them, believes they have the right and perogative to snuff out human life but merely disagree about the age at which it is appropriate.”
Brian Smith 03/24/2012 01:27 PM
“They left the part out where they could explain when does a baby become a person?
There are some very very morally sick people in this world today and unfortunately many of them are in positions of influence and power. This is what happens when people justify aborting the unborn.....eventually it comes to include those outside the womb.”
Steven Loeffler 03/17/2012 01:10 AM
“This is where postmodern relativism leads - including your death because maybe your race is not superior after all. So, for the sake of the rest of us strong ones - should the rest of us just do your race away and all other races that we strong ones consider weak????????????
Thou shalt not murder!!! We humans were created in the image of God and none else.”
If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine... Exodus 21:22-25.”

What an eye opener!
After reading last month’s Newsletter (March 2012), I watched that ‘180 Movie.’ What an eye opener!
If you want to see it, you may find it at the following address:
I was amazed at how a little time spent with people could change their minds. People generally go with the flow on their opinions and don’t really think about what they are saying. They just spit out ‘the norm,’ what they think everyone else believes, what is socially acceptable. With some thought-provoking questions, Ray Comfort, the interviewer in the film was able to change their opinions right round, from being pro-choice to Pro-Life because, in the end, they couldn’t think of one good reason to kill a baby in the womb. Many interviewee’s opinions were also changed from thinking they’re automatically going to Heaven (because they believe they are good and don’t do anyone any harm) to actually looking at the truth, how they are breaking the Ten Commandments and if they died right now, would they really go to Heaven?!
People just need a good guide
Because this interviewer took time with people, asking them questions that guided them to really look at the truth of themselves, it just goes to show, people just need a good guide, a good, strong example of faith who is there at the right time, with Jesus, to steer them from the path to hell and quite simply set them on the right Path to go to Heaven.
It reminded me of the importance of being with Jesus constantly, always ready, always available and to be without fear about this.
I don’t do anyone any harm
The other most striking and shocking point that hit me from this movie, which has made an even deeper impression, it has haunted me since is: so many believe they are destined for Heaven, I do too, we all just assume to be really good people, like who’s gonna throw me in hell, I don’t do anyone any harm... but, when I look at the real truth, going through the Commandments, asking myself do I break them - do I, like those in the video, stand in shock at the reality?
One of those being asked the questions was ‘Steve’ – a proud, Jew-hating, foul-mouthed, anti-black, ‘I hate America’ neo-Nazi atheist with a fourteen inch blue Mohawk - even with his loud hate filled opinions, he seen himself as a good person and he said he didn’t think God would throw a nice guy like him into hell! That really surprised me!
Pride and blindness
Like, how blind we can be! How blind am I! Am I truly prepared for the Spirit of Truth? Am I truly a Christian?! What do others see when they see me? Do they see what I want them to see or do they see something else? How does God see me?
Pride and blindness must fall away. Self, which blinds us, must be died to. The Way of Truth is the best way forward for us. It is the only way to ensure that blindness is removed.

Boycott Ends: PepsiCo will not use aborted foetal cell lines for flavour enhancers
The following has been taken from on Tuesday 30 April 2012
Aborted fetal cell line
Children of God for Life announced today the stunning news that PepsiCo will not use aborted foetal cell line HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney) in their contractual agreement with Senomyx to develop flavour enhancers for their beverages.
A major breakthrough
Children of God for Life’s Executive Director, Debi Vinnedge, hailed PepsiCo’s decision as a major breakthrough and achievement by thousands of concerned consumers who have been writing and boycotting PepsiCo beverages since last May.
In a letter to Children of God for Life, PepsiCo’s VP of Global Public Policy, Paul Boykas stated that “Senomyx will not use HEK cells or any other tissues or cell lines derived from human embryos or foetuses for research performed on behalf of PepsiCo.”
“We are absolutely thrilled with PepsiCo’s decision,” stated Mrs. Vinnedge. “They have listened to their customers and have made both a wise and profound statement of corporate integrity that deserves the utmost respect, admiration and support of the public.”
In speaking with Mr. Boykas, Vinnedge noted that the company had conducted internal discussions, recognizing it was a highly sensitive and controversial subject that quite frankly, was not in the best interests of PepsiCo.
End to the boycott
“We took the matter very seriously,” stated Mr. Boykas. “We have an official Statement on Responsible Research and we intend to live by that policy.”
That policy precludes any research by PepsiCo - or third parties they fund – from using human tissue or cell lines derived from embryos or foetuses.
The decision means an immediate end to the boycott that began in May 2011 - welcome news to both PepsiCo and their customers who have abstained from their favorite beverages in protest.
“We are grateful to PepsiCo and especially to all those who sent a loud and clear message to the management of this company. It’s incumbent upon us to closely monitor the situation to be sure that PepsiCo remains true to their word,” said Brad Mattes, Executive Director of Life Issues Institute, one of thirty five Pro-Life organizations that joined Children of God for Life in the boycott. “There are moral cell lines Senomyx can and should be using – not just for PepsiCo research but for all their customers.”
Angered them as well
Senomyx receives royalties for products sold using their ingredients. If they do not use aborted foetal cell lines, they offend no one; if they do, they most certainly offend at least half of US consumers who are Pro-Life. But Children of God for Life also heard from a number of women who stated they were pro-choice yet this use of aborted foetal cell lines, crossed the line and angered them as well.
Stop using the aborted
“If for no other reason, it only makes financial sense for both Senomyx and their collaborators to avoid a substantial loss of potential market,” Vinnedge said. “Senomyx needs to stop using the aborted foetal cell lines entirely and we will continue to pressure them to do so.”
Support of PepsiCo
Vinnedge is strongly encouraging the public to take one more important step: write to PepsiCo and thank them – and then go buy your favorite Pepsi products to celebrate!
“Too often we seem to focus on the negatives and forget to take the time to let others know we appreciate their efforts,” stated Vinnedge. “It is our sincere hope that the public will once again rise to the occasion en masse as they did in the boycott – but this time in appreciation and support of PepsiCo.”

Walk Against Abortion Saturday 24 March
We gathered at the back yard of the House of Prayer for the walk at 3pm. We didn’t have as big a crowd as usual but it was good. We walked in silence, being mindful of how many babies would be murdered within that hour that it took us to walk around the busy town. We hope and pray that Jesus was able to save some babies from abortion by our giving.
Feast of the Annunciation Monday 26 March
We hold the Feast of the Annunciation as our Twenty Four Hour Day of Prayer and Fasting Against Abortion. We began with the Mysteries of Light at midnight and silent prayer continued throughout the night. Jesus and Mary have spoken many times in the Messages of Love about the great evil of abortion and have continually asked us for prayer and sacrifice. Jesus said in a Message in 1992 that abortion Grieves and Pains Him. We kept the prayers going all day. There were talks at the 12pm, 3pm and 8.30pm Community Prayers where servants spoke about how many babies are killed every day and of the millions killed every year that never had a chance to be born or know how their lives would have been. We also prayed the Baptism of the Unborn at all the prayers.
Easter Retreat Holy Thursday 5 April
Holy Thursday began with the vigil. Jesus gave a Message on 13 April 2006 where He said “Follow Me into the Garden of Gethsemane this night and watch with Me.”
We kept watch with Jesus as we read the Passion after the Sorrowful Mysteries with meditations as given by Jesus. After a short tea break the altar was stripped in solemn silence in preparation for the Passion of Jesus. The Stations of the Cross as given by Jesus was read by two servants. We had times of silence to reflect on Jesus’ Agony.
Good Friday 6 April
We started with Community Prayers at 12 noon uniting with Jesus and His Pain. A servant shared of the Love God has for each one of us that He gave His only Son as a Sacrifice so that we could have Eternal Life with Him. We went to the service in the local Church and then returned for the Divine Mercy Novena and the Stations of the Cross in the Prayer Room. We were mindful all day of the Suffering and Death of Jesus.
Good Friday was also the First Friday and we had the First Friday vigil from 10pm to 2am. On Good Friday 9 April 2004, Jesus said: “My little son, it is good that you be with Me in this time. It is the time of My Sorrows: the world has forgotten Me and what I have done for them.”
Holy Saturday 7 April
This is a solemn day within the House of Prayer as we stay with Jesus. We came together for the Stations of the Cross (given by Jesus) before the Community Prayer at 12 noon. A servant spoke about her experience at a Pro-Life Walk in Brussels and how Jesus was with them through the people that helped them that day.
A servant spoke at 3pm of this calling to the Way of the Sacred Heart and how it is an honour and privilege to be able to know and love Jesus on this Journey.
The talk at 6pm reflected on our lives as Christians and how we fall short of what we should be.
Easter Sunday 8 April
Jesus asked that prayer be offered on Easter Sunday against abortion. We did the Baptism of the Unborn at all the Community Prayers. The Prayer Room was beautiful and decorated with yellow and white flowers. During the 3pm prayers, a servant spoke on the work in the other Houses of Prayer and what Jesus’ Dream was for them. We sang and praised Jesus. The prayerfulness throughout the Day was very uplifting. The Lord has Risen, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
Divine Mercy Sunday 15 April
The Day began at 2.45pm with venerating the picture of Divine Mercy before the Community Prayers at 3pm which concluded the Novena given to Saint Faustina. After the Sorrowful Mysteries, a servant gave a talk on how Saint Faustina was a true servant and how Jesus could use her to spread the Divine Mercy. There was lots of song and praise and thanksgiving to Jesus.

The Forty Days for Life Campaign
Pro Life Prayer Vigils

We We recently attended a prayer vigil outside an abortion clinic in central London. The Forty Days for Life Campaign started on Ash Wednesday 22 February and finished on 2 April. This campaign is held throughout America and in many other countries in the world including the UK. During this time many people volunteered to pray outside the Abortuaries while others approached the women seeking abortion and those with them to offer them alternative help to killing their babies.
Bad media attention
During the Forty Days Campaign the pro-abortion people were beginning to get fed up with the constant presence outside the clinics and the Pro-Life groups got some bad media attention.
The peaceful, prayerful, demonstrators were classed as intimidating and aggressive. They were also falsely accused of filming the women going in and out of the clinic. The abortion staff at the clinic said it was not morally justified that the Bishop should get involved in the Campaign! Can they not see that abortion cannot be morally justified under any circumstance and that it is murder?! I can understand what Jesus means when He speaks of the blindness in the world.
Jesus’ Words
On 30 March, Bishop Alan Hopes was to lead the vigil outside the clinic. The pro-abortion lobby had used the internet and Facebook to rally as many of their people as possible to attend and to make the legal, peaceful prayer vigil as noisy as possible! At one point before the vigil four hundred people had signed up on Facebook to be there for the pro-abortion side while only fifty eight had signed up for the Pro-Life side. When I saw this I remembered Jesus’ Words He had given in Messages: ‘Where are My people?’ ‘Where are My followers?’
After my initial worry about attending the vigil, I remembered that we had Jesus on our side and that there was no need to fear. I knew He wouldn’t let us down.
Did not deter us
We then contacted as many as possible to join us at the vigil or for prayer back up. This worked wonders! We had about four hundred to five hundred people turn up to join the vigil and, though the opposition were in great numbers and very noisy, they did not deter us from what we had come to do, stand up for the unborn who have no voice and pray to end abortion.
Lord God is my helper
This piece of Scripture was read and I felt it was very appropriate at the time:
6 I have given my body to the strikers, and my cheeks to them that plucked them: I have not turned away my face from them that rebuked me, and spit upon me.
7 The Lord God is my helper, therefore am I not confounded: therefore have I set my face as a most hard rock and I know that I shall not be confounded.
8 He is near that justifieth me, who will contend with me? let us stand together, who is my adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Behold the Lord God is my helper: who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they shall all be destroyed as a garment, the moth shall eat them up.
Isaiah 50:6-9, Douay-Rheims
Jesus’ Passion
During the prayers, I reflected on Jesus’ Passion and united with Him. I imagined the jeering and mocking we were getting was like what Jesus heard on His way to Calvary. Also when we fell to our knees during the twelfth Station of the Cross and when we knelt through the fifth decade of the Sorrowful Mysteries, I felt the sharp stones digging into my knees and remembered when Jesus fell He said that the stones became embedded in Him. It was great to be united with Him during this time in Lent just before Holy Week to be able to offer a small sacrifice to Him to appease His Pain.
Much prayer said
During the Forty Days for Life Campaign, there is much prayer said, not only for the unborn babies and their parents but also for the staff at the abortion clinics and those who promote abortion. Prayer is very powerful indeed and it’s well worth joining those who constantly pray outside the clinics to see Gods Work in action. During this Forty Days for Life Campaign we know that six hundred and sixty eight babies were saved from abortion but there were probably many more we don’t know about. Also, at least five abortion centres closed down and there have been sixty one employees who have had conversions and left their jobs in the abortion industry during Forty Days for Life Campaigns.
Nothing is impossible
Praise Jesus and believe nothing is impossible to God!
Something extra
This Lent I decided I would do something extra and I felt the best thing I could do was to pray outside the abortion clinics. The Good Counsel Network would often mention they needed more volunteers. I decided to go to Whitfield Street as it’s a straight run from Seven sisters to Warren Street.
Very rewarding
I went with George and we prayed outside for two hours. I felt it was very rewarding to do this and continue to go Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
A bit worried
I went on the morning of the vigil that was to be held at Bedford Square. Eddie was there and he left to put Blessed Salt and Holy Water around the area of the vigil at Bedford Square, for protection for us that evening.
Heather and I went down that evening. I did feel a bit worried to be surrounded by so many protesters and so much noise. When we started the prayers and hymns, I felt a great Peace and the shouting and drums seemed to fade into the background, even though they were very close to us.
Mainly men
It was great to have a Bishop leading the prayers and many priests, nuns and brothers present too. I hope to continue to go to pray at the clinics and trust more in Jesus. Eddie told us afterwards that no protestor had crossed where the Blessed Salt had been put down.
I see it is mainly men who come to Whitfield Street to pray, it would be a big help if more women came there to pray also.
If you would like to volunteer to pray outside the centre, volunteers are there Monday to Friday 9am until 1.30pm at Marie Stopes Abortuary, 108 Whitfield Street , London W1T 5EA.

My Time in Poland
It was exciting to return to Saint Stanislaus House of Prayer as on our last visit the new central heating system was installed. We were looking forward to seeing if the House was warm as the heating system is a dual system. When we are back home the oil comes on and keeps the House warm and the pipes from bursting and radiators frost free.
Felt the warmth
As we pulled up at the House late at night, it was so homely and so good to see the lights on, one of the neighbours keeps an eye on the House when we are away so the lights were put on for our arrival. I feel a house at night which is lit up is so much more welcoming than a house in darkness, it gives a lonely feeling. On entering Saint Stanislaus, much to our delight, we immediately felt the warmth.
No longer cold and damp
After greeting Jesus in the Prayer Room which we do on arrival in all the Houses, we then proceeded to check the House to see if all was OK. On checking upstairs, we were pleasantly surprised to experience heat in all the bedrooms and up in the attics. The bedding was cosy and dry, no longer cold and damp.
Crazy weather
The workmen arrived a couple of days after us in snowy conditions and the temperature was beginning to drop and it kept dropping almost for the duration of our time there, until it was minus thirty five. For one full week it continued to freeze and it snowed continually for three days nonstop, night and day. Poland has never known to have these kind of temperatures before, it was crazy weather.
Froze up
Problems began to rise and pipes were freezing up, radiators were bursting. As the men had to remove radiators in order to plaster and skim, they discovered the pipes that were underground in the Prayer Room were all froze up. Due to extensive work in the cellar, so much freezing air was getting in to the cellar the plumbers explained that even with the furnace, the water was freezing before it got a chance to travel all the way to the rooms, this was the reason for so many burst radiators and freezing pipes.
The work
The windows in Saint Stanislaus are double windows, so the men lined all the windows with fibre glass and the difference was unbelievable. The heat no longer escapes, the only drawback is we could not see out. The bad weather did not deter the work. Two new attic rooms were plastered, electrics and new floors completed. The second floor has all new floors, walls and ceilings have been plastered, toilets installed but not connected and new electrics put in.
The Prayer Room
On the third floor, all ceilings on the landings were stripped and plastered, bedrooms all plastered and new floors laid. New bathrooms are ready for tiling and showers and toilets are to be installed. A new back door has been installed, the Prayer Room floor has been insulated and a new floor in place. As work will be carried out in the Prayer Room, it will be out of action for sometime so the Prayer Room has now moved up to the office.
The three things completed
Jesus requested a new roof, windows and the heating. We hope to have all the new windows in place by the end of March. This will be the three things completed that Jesus asked for.
The next thing to do is the kitchen, a wall is to be knocked down and a new kitchen is to be put in. Various other work that Jesus requested carried out such as hanging a new front door.
The local men
As the workload has increased, a few of the local men come in at various times to help and they are delighted to do it. They teach us Polish and when we show them the dictionary, they help us with the translation. A young girl comes into the House almost every day and she does all the translation when supplies are needed.
Touched and excited
On leaving to come home, one of the Polish lads was asked if he would like to look after the House when we were gone. He was so touched and excited to be asked.
Jesus, please Bless all Your benefactors for giving so generously so this Work can be carried out for You. Bless all the workers and their families for giving of themselves to come and do this work for You.
Saint Stanislaus has had a total renovation, including new windows, bathrooms, and a new heating system installed. Hopefully, next month, a new kitchen will be fitted and the outside of the House will be finished.
Thank You, Jesus!

March for Life in Belgium
Walk Against Abortion
In March of this year, myself and Paddy went to man Saint Thérèse House of Prayer in Belgium for one month. While we were there, we were in touch with the Sacred Heart House of Prayer daily. It was during this time that we were asked to try and find out about the Walk Against Abortion which is held in Brussels, Belgium (around the Feast of the Annunciation).
The information came
We were asked to attend the Walk, to try and make contact with other Pro-Life Groups and to give out as many of the pictures of aborted babies as we could. We tried to obtain details on the internet in Belgium and from local people, however it was impossible to find out anything about it.
Eventually, the information came from the Sacred Heart House, all they could find was that the Walk was on Sunday 25 March at 2pm. The people were gathering at the Grande Platz (a famous museum in the centre of Belgium).
A banner
One week before the event, we set about making a banner to take with us. We prayed and sacrificed, offering it all to Jesus in the fight against abortion.
For those who do not know, the Saint Thérèse House of Prayer has the mission to pray and sacrifice against abortion. Jesus has said about this: “...Today, I do a new thing. I call upon My two sons and My servants to find My House in the city of the seat of power in Europe for there the prayer can thwart what they plan to do with the little ones as yet unborn...” Friday 11 June 2010, Feast of the Most Sacred Heart
Eventually the banner was ready. It was eight foot tall by six foot wide. With a picture of Crucified Jesus and beside Him an aborted baby image and it was disturbing to look at, being so large and bloody.
Meanwhile we were advised by a few people that we could be arrested in Brussels for showing pictures like the ones we were going to give out on the streets and, of course, being foreign, we did not know their laws or what they would do to us.
Arrested again and locked up
Paddy said to me “what if they do arrest us and lock us up, we’ll miss our train home tomorrow, my husband will get very distressed if he thinks I’ve been arrested again and locked up in a foreign country, he’ll panic and worry about not being able to find me or even his way here, he hates travel now that he’s older!”
I said “don’t worry, we’re foreigners in a strange land, they would have to let us phone the British embassy, they would probably just deport us, either way, we would get home eventually ha! ha! ha!”
The banner of Truth
We both laughed nervously at the thought of what might happen. I opened a Message Book asking Jesus to confirm or not what we were about to do. My eyes fell on the Words “…Take up the banner of Truth and hold it highly for it is My Sacrifice for all of mankind…” Wednesday 30 April 2003 Paddy said “well that’s clear enough, ok we go with the banner and the pictures.”
Miss the Walk
At weekends in Belgium the travel is more expensive and buses run on a skeleton service. You could wait two hours between buses but a bus from either side of the road would do as we could go to a train station from either side.
Sunday morning we rolled up the banner and headed out to the bus stop where we waited and waited and waited, no bus came. I said to Paddy, “if we wait much longer, we are going to miss the Walk. Do you think you could walk to Louvere to get the train there?”
“Well, Jesus did say ‘walk on with the banner of Truth!’ We’ll walk! It will take us well over an hour.”
Over an hour and a half
So we walked and over an hour and a half later, we caught the next train to Brussels. When we arrived at Brusssels, we realised that the clocks were all one hour ahead of us and we realised that they had moved forward the night before for ‘Summer time’ in Brussels. It was the same as at home and we had forgotten.
We were very disappointed about this because it meant that we were late for the Walk.
Give out pictures
Paddy asked a lady at the train station if she could direct us to the March, we told her what we were doing. She called her husband and told him to take us there as it was about fifteen minutes walk. He asked us if we were Catholics, we said we were and he said “so are we!”
Fifteen minutes later, we arrived at the place and it was packed with people. Sadly, by this stage, we were pretty certain that we had missed the Walk itself. We made our way to a very large chapel called Saint Nicholaus and put our banner against the wall and started to give out pictures of the little babies.
Joy and laughter
Just then, a group of young musicians came and set up to play very close to us. They were busking and singing in English, we knew all the songs so we started singing and dancing with them. Crowds of people started coming over to hear the music and, while they were standing around, listening and clapping, we went through the crowds with the baby pictures, very few refused to take them.
The whole atmosphere was wonderful, there was joy and laughter from the young musicians as well as the serious message on abortion.
Little alcoholic man
Outside the chapel itself seemed to be a place where beggars, alcoholics, street artists and musicians worked in ‘patches’ to make their living. One little alcoholic man took a great shine to us and seemed to be trying to help us in our work there. The March had been a very big one, with over four thousand in attendance. When the police came towards us all, the wee man called to us and gestured to us to hide the pictures, which we did, until they passed and we started giving them out again. The wee man continued to call out to us any time police on horses came near us. He tried to tell us by gestures and in broken English to watch out for the police and helicopters.
We exchanged details
The peoples were very friendly, some spoke English and asked us many questions about abortion. We met at least four (new to us) Pro-Life Groups. We exchanged details with them. They were Italian, American, French and Belgian, some of these groups spoke English. The Italian group gave us the name of a Pro-Life film to watch on Youtube, it is called “180 movie.”
If you want to see it, you may find it at the following address:
We took the information home with us and passed it on (the film is brilliant, it lasts about thirty minutes). We gave these groups a Newsletter, each with the address of the House of Prayer in Belgium on a card and talked to them about our group.
The protection and Love of Jesus
The whole day at Brussels was brilliant. We could certainly feel the protection and Love of Jesus the whole day. We were there until it began to get dark and got many pictures of the babies out onto the streets. From the beginning of the walk with the banner until the return journey, I believe we were helped, protected and looked after, even to the extent of getting Mass in the very chapel that we were working outside! It seemed to me that Jesus had placed His ‘helpers’ along the route to guide us to where He was taking us.
We did walk on
When I thought about it afterwards, we did walk on with the banner of Truth, both to the Louvere and then back home again and the distance seemed like nothing but the day was wonderful and the people were great. They told us that there had been a pro-choice march on Saturday in the same place, which explained the strong police presence.
Thank You, Jesus.

Luke 12:22-34
22 And He said to His disciples: Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you shall eat; nor for your body, what you shall put on.
23 The life is more than the meat and the body is more than the raiment.
24 Consider the ravens for they sow not, neither do they reap, neither have they storehouse nor barn and God feedeth them. How much are you more valuable than they?
25 And which of you, by taking thought, can add to his stature one cubit?
The world we live in today has taught us to worry about everything. Think about it, our lives are full of worries, we worry about our jobs, our houses, our cars, mortgage, bills, health, what other people think about us.
26 If then ye be not able to do so much as the least thing, why are you solicitous for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin. But I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these.
28 Now if God clothe in this manner the grass that is to day in the field and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more you, O ye of little faith?
I think one of our biggest worries of today is money and, when you think about it, no matter how much money you have, it is never enough and you always want more and more. It’s a vicious circle. It becomes “greed” instead of “need.”
29 And seek not you what you shall eat, or what you shall drink: and be not lifted up on high.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek. But your Father knoweth that you have need of these things.
31 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His justice and all these things shall be added unto you.
We humans spend so much of our time worrying about worldly things. Instead we should be concentrating on having Eternal Life with Jesus. Our lives are so short, why waste time worrying! We should be storing up treasure in Heaven by all our good deeds and actions we do for other people.
32 Fear not, little flock, for it hath pleased your Father to give you a kingdom.
33 Sell what you possess and give alms. Make to yourselves bags which grow not old, a treasure in heaven which faileth not: where no thief approacheth, nor moth corrupteth.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Let’s today place all our worries into Jesus’ Hands. Hand them over to Him, let Jesus take care of all our troubles, let go of them and don’t take them back in a day or a week but trust and believe and let Jesus sort them out and, trust me, He won’t let you down!

9 As the Father hath Loved Me, I also have Loved you.
The Father is complete Love and Jesus has Loved us with the same Love and calls us to live in His Love.
10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My Love; as I also have kept My Father’s commandments and do abide in His Love.
As Jesus obeyed the Commandments of God and abided in His Love, He now Teaches us that if we obey His Commandments we also will abide in the Love of God.
11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you and your joy may be filled.
Jesus Teaches us that we will have joy and fulfilment in a life with God.
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another, as I have Loved you.
Jesus commands us to love one another with an unconditional, truthful love as He has Loved us.
13 Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Jesus is asking us to lay down our lives in prayer and sacrifice for the souls of our friends, our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ.
14 You are My friends, if you do the things that I command you.
Only by loving our neighbour with the Love and truthfulness of God can we become the friends of Jesus.
15 I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends: because all things whatsoever I have heard of My Father, I have made known to you.
Only by living in the obedience of this Command can we become the friends of Jesus. Not only His servants but His friends in which He confides His Plans to.
16 You have not chosen Me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go and should bring forth fruit and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you.
We do not choose to be in the service of God but He chooses and calls us. He commands us to go forth and produce fruit in the saving of souls and then all we ask for will be given to us for it will be for the Glory of God.
17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
We cannot fully serve God until we learn to love one another truly.
18 If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated Me before you.
To love our neighbour truthfully is to always speak the truth. As we know the truth hurts and we are disliked because we do not see or do as the world does.
19 If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
The fact that we are disliked and many times despised, it is because Jesus is calling us to be not of the world, it is confirmation for us that we work for God.
20 Remember My Word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept My Word, they will keep yours also.
Jesus Teaches us total obedience, we are not greater than Jesus. It is in His Name that we are persecuted. If we live and preach in Jesus’ Name and die completely to self, we will be recognised as speaking the Word of God and the Word of God we speak will be obeyed.
21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake: because they know not Him who sent Me.
Our persecutors do not know or recognise Jesus or His Father.
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Because Jesus came and preached His Message of Salvation we are accountable for our sin.
23 He that hateth Me, hateth My Father also.
Jesus is a reflection of God the Father and He taught what the Father Commanded Him to and if we deny Jesus or live against His Laws, we hate the Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin but now they have both seen and hated both Me and My Father.
Jesus worked miracles and spoke the Truth, as taught by the Father, if we hate or disobey Jesus we do this to the Father also.
25 But that the Word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated Me without cause.
There is no cause or reason to hate Jesus for He came to Redeem the world but the Redemption was not accepted by all.
26 But when the Paraclete cometh, whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, He shall give testimony of Me.
When the Holy Spirit of Truth comes through Jesus from the Father, we shall see the Truth in its entirety and we will see what Jesus has done for us.
27 And you shall give testimony because you are with Me from the beginning.
And, please God, through the Grace of God and dying to self, we will be there to give testimony for Jesus and the Teachings and way of life He has given.

Evil crime
Each month here in the House of Prayer, we take it in turns to write about “The Plight of Others” as this was something that Jesus specifically asked to be in His Newsletter.
It has come to my turn this month and all my heart is filled with is the terrible and evil crime that abortion is.
While channel flicking last Sunday morning, I came across a discussion on ‘The Big Question.’ The topic up for debate was ‘Abortion – a private matter?’
All sorts of people
Within this debate were all sorts of people; from the wishy-washy Pro-Lifers, being afraid to offend anyone and saying the way to fight is to show pictures of lovely bouncy babies; to women saying ‘how dare you tell me what to do with my womb;’ to a female ‘Rabbi’ from the ‘progressive synagogue’ stating that women did not want abortions but sometimes needed them; to ministers talking nonsense on about how important women are!
Show the truth
There was one light however, that I could see. It was a man who wanted to show the truth of what abortion is. He didn’t decorate it or dress it up in any fancy way, he just wanted to fight abortion by using pictures of aborted babies and he came under some fire!
I felt sorry for him because he was a man and it seems that men do not have a say in our society when it comes to abortion. If they speak one word against abortion they are shouted down by feminists demanding to know how they could possibly know anything about pregnancy or abortion or a woman’s right to choose. It seems to escape us every time that it takes a man and a woman to make a baby and that being the case he should have exactly the same say as a woman.
All about the woman
My point, as a woman myself, is that it is all about the woman. Her right to choose, her body, her feelings, her career, her mental health etc etc. No one else matters, neither the man nor the child.
New life in the womb
It absolutely sickens me that there is practically no thought of the new life in the womb. It sickens me that we have to tiptoe around, not using words or phrases that may offend someone somewhere who has had an abortion or use pictures that are described as graphic because they display the truth of what abortion is.
It sickens me that in some places you can be arrested for showing these pictures but you can commit the crime, (i.e. carve up a baby, and piece it back together to make sure that none of it is left inside the uterus and to be sure all the bits can be sold!) and, in the eyes of the law, you have done nothing wrong!! It is ok to do it but don’t show anybody what you are doing!
I am deeply offended
I am deeply offended by the fact that in the same hospital I will go to give birth, there will be doctors and nurses willing to kill a child in the womb and these are very possibly the same ones who will care for and look after me and my newborn baby. How can I feel safe and confident here?
A terrible blindness
There is a terrible blindness that surrounds abortion where people don’t actually realise what it is and those who do know that it is killing a child think that it is up to each individual to choose or make up their own minds whether abortion is right or wrong. The blindness is protected by our silence, our unwillingness to offend, our unwillingness to rock the boat.
Does anyone feel offended for them?
What it means
There is quite a graphic postcard printed here at the House of Prayer and on it, it says, ‘tinker, tailor soldier… because abortion is legal we will never know.’
We could spend many long hours meditating on this phrase and what it means.
For every child in the womb, God has given a mission. These children would have been someone’s husband, wife, father, mother, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother etc. They could have been anything from a humble cleaner to a prime minister. They could have been the next saint who would be responsible for bringing many souls to God. They could have been the one person who was able to love and stop ‘Joe Blogs’ from killing himself. Since they were never allowed to live, we shall never know.
Can we ever realise
There was a Message from Jesus to Ireland (see below) that says we are about to abort a nation that could have brought us true freedom. Can we ever realise what we are doing when we play God?
The repercussions of what we are doing with abortion are endless. Think!
Saturday 22 November 2003
Messages from the Weekend for the Prophets of Ireland
My children of Ireland, I, the Lord, your God would speak with you. You have brought My Anger to the fore with your talk of abortion. You plan to introduce abortion into this country without the permission of your God. You have offended Me.
I give you a little time to change this policy before I show you that you have indeed angered Me. You are already in the mire and, by these Words, I try to pull you out. I have called My Prophets, Visionaries and Seers together, those who did not betray Me, so that I could tell you these things.
Government of Ireland, I address you. I tell you and I remind you that I have toppled greater kings than you and I tell you that your secret things are not hidden from Me as you have hidden them from the people of this country. You are about to abort a mighty nation of people who could win true freedom for you. Do not do it.
Cardinals, bishops and priests, you who act with My Authority, I call you to speak out in every church, the length and breadth of this country. Do not ignore My Laws or My Truth.
I know who you are and I know which of you believes in this great crime. Change your ways back to My Ways. Come back.
I speak to you, media, I am Jesus Christ, the Truth. Spread these Words of Mine for this country needs them more than the bad news that you already give to them. Tell your readers that abortion is a crime against their God.

Slavorum apostoli (continued)
32. The future! However much it may humanly speaking seem filled with threats and uncertainties, we trustfully place it in your hands, Heavenly Father, invoking upon it the intercession of the Mother of your Son and Mother of the Church, the intercession of your Apostles Peter and Paul, and of Saints Benedict, Cyril and Methodius, of Augustine and Boniface and all the other evangelizers of Europe who, strong in faith, hope and charity, proclaimed to our fathers your salvation and your peace, and amid the toils of the spiritual sowing began to build the civilization of love and the new order based on your holy law and the help of your grace, which at the end of the age will give life to all things and all people in the heavenly Jerusalem. Amen!
To you, dear brothers and sisters, my Apostolic Blessing. Given in Rome, at Saint Peter’s, on 2 June, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, in the year 1985, the seventh of my Pontificate. JOHN PAUL II
